Hello, Richard Paterson, Whyte & Mackay’s Master Blender here. Please forgive the slightly rough look of the blog at the moment as we fine-tune the look (or “theme” as I believe it’s called). I decided to start getting more involved with the social aspects of the online whisky community after taking part in a Twhisky Twitter whisky tasting and starting a blog over at Whyte and Mackay’s Rare and Prestige site, but it’s here where my main activity will be – and Twitter where you can find me as the_nose.
As well as talking about issues affecting the whisky industry and revealing some of the background to Whyte and Mackay, I’d like to have some others blog here, so if you want to be a guest writer here, let me know.
So let’s sit back, pour and enjoy a good whisky and see what happens eh?
