I’d like to think that there’s a nice little community building up here and I’d like to expand on that. To that end, I’d love to see a lot more guest bloggers here – perhaps even one a day. So here’s a challenge/question for people out there: do you fancy being a guest blogger? Not necessarily about whisky. I’d like some people from outside the UK to talk about whiskies so we can see what it’s like elsewhere in the world and some people to talk about wine, cigars, food, fine dining. Let’s get a global perspective. (But a few whisky bloggers from the likes of India, the US, South America, Europe, Taiwan would be nice).
Are there 14 people out there who could do a blog post once a fortnight on a topic? You would of course get a link back to your own online activities…
Let us know and let’s see what we can do…

Yeah I would be interested. I blog on a lot of subjects. I have been a bartender for fourteen years so I know a lot about spirits. I am also an IBA affiliate and a huge cocktail fan.
So if you could get back to me with a few more details that would be great.
Richard,
as one of the leading Israeli bloggers in the alcohol (wine, whisky) and culinary dept. we’d be glad to write guest post on your blog.

Hi Richard,
Always more than happy to help out where I can
)
I’ve been on a bit of a roll on my own blog recently and I’m sure I can put together a regular post for you.
Hello from Vienna (Austria)
this is a nice idea. I have spoken to my business partner and friend Wolfgang Leithner about this and we would like to join as guest bloggers. Please let me know further details.
Best regards

Hello Richard,
I’am Martijn and work as bar manager in a four star hotel in The Hague, Holland. We stock over 300 whiskies from all over the world. I’d like to blog about whisky, maybe in combination with hotel life.

Martijn Meindersma
Hi Richard,
Very happy to help, count me in!

Not a blogging expert but would be happy to post the odd note and thought about cognac which may be of interest to some of your readers?
Couldn’t manage a fortnightly post but would definitely be up for a one-off!
Hi Richard,
I would love to take part in this. As a young whisky drinker (19yo) I could maybe add a new perspective?
I also just spent a stint in Costa Rica and before that in Shanghai and could talk a little about whisky there.
Let me know…I’d love to do this!

Richard,
Happy to oblige. You’ve already seen some of my blog posts. Hopefully you approved of my notes on The Thirteen.

I’d love to take a shot at it. The microdistillery movement here in the US is gathering steam and one of my favorite topics.

Me! Me! [waves hands wildly]
I am new to blogging (I just started my first blog, posted for the first time ever last week), but I am a whisky and food enthusiast in Mexico City. I have been following you on twitter for a while, and have enjoyed learning from you and other fantastic people about whisky. I would cherish the opportunity to write (as many times as viable).
I’ve done a couple of tastings with friends and family, and am particularly interested in the subject of food pairings and whisky. My goal is to start a regular group to do tastings and dine out here. Maybe I could also tell about some of our experiences here…
Please let me know how I can help you. It would be an honour to do this!

Hi Richard,
I would be happy to join the project as well. Don’t know if I could keep up a 14 day rhythm for a longer period, but it’s worth giving it a try. My blog is about rating whisky and generaly whisky information, as you already know.
This would be awesome to do. I’m a whisky enthusiast from the US and I’d be all over doing some blog posts for ya.

I have been collecting and writing about scotch for some time, and would be happy to contribute as a guest blogger. We’ve met several times at WhiskyFest in Chicago. Cheers, Bill
