A few brief notes today as I’m running for the airport to head over to the USA (more on that in a minute) but before I forget, I’ve a quick note from the marketing lads to let you know that as well as the successful whisky podcast series we are now doing a game on the iPhone to tie in with our darts sponsorship of the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts. There’s a screengrab and video below.

According to Pete Russell, one of the team behind the game at Player One Sport, the developers spent a chunk of time making sure that the game had the best experience of the darts games out there, using the phone as the actual dart throwing mechanism.
They’ve spent a good few months, working on this, adding in the players, the authorised competitions and video. Judging by the people playing it at Dalmore House, it certainly seems to be a hit – and the reviews online back that up.
Sadly I’m not in there as a player – but perhaps if we email the programmers enough, they would add in me on an update!
But here’s a question, what else would you like to see from Whyte and Mackay online or in the app store? Is there anything we can put up there that would help people enjoy their whisky more?
