Shackleton’s whisky might be stuck and trapped, but this Master Blender’s still on the move spreading the word of quality whisky! The last few weeks have seen me hardly have time to draw breath inbetween trips to South Africa, America and now India – along with a few stopovers in London for award ceremonies.
Anyway, as you may have gathered from the above, I’m in India now for 10 days on a whistlestop tour. Now a lot of the events are closed to the public but do you think I’m coming this far and not meeting with my online friends? So here’s the deal, if enough people leave notes in the comments section – or spread a buzz on Twitter (I’m also on Orkut but was told that’s dropping off in India – what’s the thoughts?) – about where they might be in India that ties in with my schedule and let’s see if we can meet a few people for a drink. How does that sound – fair enough?
So my movements are:

- Dec 4: Evening Session in Indore
- Dec 5: Evening Session in Leela Gurgaon, Delhi
- Dec 6: Evening Session (spot a pattern?) in Taj, Lucknow
- Dec 7: Evening Session at Park, Kolkata
- Dec 8: Evening Session at Landmark, Guwahati
- Dec 9: Evening Session at ITC Kakatiya, Hyderabad
- Dec 10: Evening Session at Royal Orchid, Bangalore
- Dec 11: Evening Session at Spiga, Bangalore
- Dec 12: Morning Session – sleeping session! – in my seat on the plane home
So, as you can see, I’m not out much over the next few days. Seriously though, if people are wanting to be around to talk whisky, speak now or forever hold your drams!

What a shame!! I so wanted to meet you and hoped you would be at the Whisky Live which was held in this same Leela, Gurgaon in January. Just got to know you were there on Dec 5th. Anyway, I guess I’ll have to forever hold my dram ( not that that would be a bad thing!)
