Richard Paterson

Happy New Year everyone, Craig here wishing you all the best for 2010. Richard will be back here soon (he’s probably out testing his Scottish whisky SatNav voice to see what it says near ice – and check out the latest whiskycast for Mark Gillespie’s take on it – and on that note, thanks to Whisky Drinker, Whisky Intelligence and others for mentioning the SatNav voice).

In the meantime, I hope everyone had a nice New Year – feel free to let us know what drams you started the year with and what you thought of them – and here’s a some celebs who kicked it off with Whyte and Mackay:

What happened was Gordon Smart, the top bloke at the Bizzare pages of The Sun, asked if Whyte & Mackay could provide some whisky for his end of year awards and they sent some bottles down. We didn’t do personalised celebrity whiskies but maybe next year! The link has the full list of winners for your viewing pleasure.
